Established in 1928, Heller’s Bakery, in the Mount Pleasant neighborhood, was a long-standing testament to comforting pastries and coffee, and was frequented by Washingtonians for more than eighty years. This image shows the iconic blue and white sign, that became a beacon of the neighborhood.
